Cashflows

Info: If you need to add extra income/expenditure to a deal you can use cashflows!

Adding a Cashflow to a Quote

To add a Cashflow to a Quote, click the Edit Pencil on a Quote of your choice, then scroll to the ‘Cashflows’ dropdown:

In this dropdown, you must select the type of Cashflow and the net amount. Fill out any other details and then click ‘Add Cashflow’:

You new Cashflow is now saved and displayed under the ‘Cashflows’ dropdown!

Info: Accelerate uses the Funder/Dealer/Relationship that you've selected when building the quote to fill out the 'Invoice To/From’ field. If you wanted to invoice an external source (for ply-lining for example) you can select the appropriate relationship.

Accelerate will automatically add the correct amount of VAT dependant on the VAT type selected.

Adding an Order to a Cashflow

To assign an order to a Cashflow, click the Edit Pencil on the Cashflow in the ‘Cashflows’ dropdown on a Quote:

Select your chosen order from the ‘Order’ dropdown field and click ‘Save’

Note: Checking the 'Restricted' checkbox will make the cashflow only visible to Accelerate administrators.

You can invoice any of these cashflows using the built in invoicing system on Accelerate.

Moving Cashflows

Info: If you have administrative permissions you can move a cashflow to a completely different quote or order.

Note:

  • You cannot transfer a cashflow to a locked order

  • You cannot transfer a cashflow which has been invoiced

To move a cashflow click the 'Move' button on the edit cashflow screen:

The following menu will be displayed:

You can select the Relationship, Opportunity, Quote (and optionally Order) to which the cashflow should be moved. Then click ‘Save’ to move your Cashflow!
