Copying a Quote

Sometimes, you may want to create a copy or duplicate of a Quote you are working on. It is possible to copy all finance and asset-related information on a Quote, to another under the same Opportunity within Accelerate.
Copying a Quote on the same Opportunity
Navigate to ‘Quotes' along the top navigation bar, and drill-down into the Quote you want to copy using the pencil icon.
In the top right of the Quote record there is a ‘Copy’ button, if you select this a new Quote will be created with a new unique Quote number however the finance and asset details will be copied across.
If you wish to make any amendments to the Quote details before copying, you can do this and instead select the ‘Save As’ button. Again, a new Quote will be created and the finance and asset details will be copied across to this new record.
Copying quotes to a new Opportunity
Let's take the new quote we've just made - we can now copy it to somewhere new, on a different opportunity. Instead of using 'Copy' or 'Save As', we'll need to use 'Copy To':
Once you've pressed this button, you'll see the below screen - you can choose which Relationship this new Quote will be for, and then create the Opportunity that the Quote will be attached to.. Fill out everything that is mandatory, and then press 'Copy'.
You'll be taken to the Opportunity screen for the new Opportunity you've just created, where the Quote will be displayed. Again the finance and asset details relating to that Quote will be copied over to new the record.
