Getting CAP Data Files

If you have the correct licences you are able to make use of our cap-hpi processes to get hold of the cap-hpi data files without lots of the pre-processing steps we have to do.

We retrieve the files every day, but there may not be changes every day.

In order to do this you need:

1. To have a licence with cap-hpi (either through us, or directly) to use the cap-hpi data 

in the desired manner - having a licence to use the data in internal systems does not, for example, give you a licence to use the data on the public Internet. If you are in doubt with regards to licencing please contact your cap hpi account manager if you have a direct licence, or your QV Systems account manager if you cap hpi licences are purchased through QV Systems.

1. A server or servers with a fixed IP address.

Once you have the above, email support@qv.systems with your IP address(es) and we can whitelist you so you can see the files, which can then be downloaded from:

The latest-csv.zip file contains schema data describing each file.

Images:

Your download script must not download this file between 09:00 and 17:00 UK time.

Once you have the file downloaded and unzipped you will need to write the necessary programs to get that data into whatever tables your website(s) need, bearing in mind issues of resilience and performance, of course.
