E-Sign Tags
All e-sign tags need a height and a width to populate on the document. To do this, select your tag and enter the required height and width.
Adding a URL to your Document
The URL box is used to attach a hyperlink to tag. To do this, you will need to highlight the tag and go to the URL bar, in this case I have decided to place the the text >>Click Here<< populate as a place to mark the link. If you wanted the link to populate over something hard coded into your document however, you can add spaces and then use the pipe symbol (the vertical bar) and then the required URL.
Note: If additional spaces are needed you may have to play around with how many are required to get the link to line up how you would like it.
Once saved it will show the text chosen (if any) and a hyperlink will be placed on this.
Adding a QV Apply link to a Document
If you are using QV Apply to collect your customers information, it is possible to add a link to your QV Apply site onto documents. This will allow customers to submit their personal and financial information directly from a quotation document.
To utilise this, follow the above steps on adding a URL to a document, however ensure you use the tag cust_online_proposal_link
You do not need to enter a URL into the URL bar, simply add any text you would like to appear for the customer to follow the link.
Previewing Tags
If you want to check the alignment of your tags and see the data pulling through as it would when in use you can click on the dropdown in the Preview Document Pane.
This will open up a new tab with a searchable list so you can find a specific order/proposal to test the document with.
Select your proposal/order and you will be taken back to the document builder.
If you click refresh the document will refresh and show the data where it would populate.
