Creating a Quote

To add a quote to an existing relationship or opportunity you must open the 'Edit Relationship' or 'Edit Opportunity' page.
Once in the edit page, scroll to the ‘Quotes' dropdown and click 'Add Quote’:
The following menu will be displayed:
Within the Quote screen you will find a 'Derivatives' section. A vehicle search of the CAP database can be found here. Use the filters as necessary to find the correct vehicle.
Note: If you type something in the 'Only' or 'Not' boxes, press 'enter' in order to confirm your search.
The 'Disc Cut Off' Field allows you to show any vehicles that have not yet been discontinued or were discontinued after the date entered in this field.
Once you have chosen the vehicle you are after, click the green tick on the far right or the derivative's name. This will display any available dealer discounts for that specific model, should you wish to select one of those discounts click the green tick next to the discount you want to use. Then click 'Save'.
If you do not wish to use any dealer discount, click 'Cancel' and you will be taken to the Quote page:
Fill out the mandatory details and any other fields you wish to populate. Then click ‘Save’. And your Quote is now created and saved!
