Cancel an Order
Note: We always recommend you cancel an order rather than deleting it from the system.
You only need to follow steps 1 & 2 if you do not have a Cancelled Order Status set up in Accelerate.
Step 1:
Click ‘Settings’, then ‘Workflow Settings’, then scroll down to the ‘Order Statuses’ dropdown section and expand this. > then click 'Add Order Status':
Step 2:
You can set up a new Cancelled Order Status that will appear in the Order Status dropdown menu on the Order screen. Just fill in all the relevant fields and hit 'Save':
Step 3:
Once the new Cancelled Order Status has been saved, click on ‘Orders’ in the top menu. Then click the pencil icon on your chosen order. Then select you ‘Cancelled Order’ status in the ‘Order Status’ drop down. You can also enter the cancellation date and cancellation reason:
Once you have filled in the date and reason for the cancellation - click ‘Save’. And your order has been successfully cancelled!
