Pricing Files

Pricing Files

Once you have some ratebooks summaries created, you can easily extract the derivative summary records in a format suitable for upload to an aggregator site, or your own website(s).

Simply go to Settings -> Pricing Files, which will show you a list of all pricing files created. To create a new pricing file, simply select the format on the left, and then press the New Pricing File button on the right.

Once you have confirmed your ratebook summaries are up-to-date, a job will be created to build your file. Once it has been built, you will receive an email to confirm. To obtain the file, go back to Settings -> Pricing Files and click the document icon on the far right. This will download the file to your computer.

If you are uploading to Leasing.com, you will need to complete the SiteID and AutoRenew columns using a spreadsheet editor such as Excel. You may also wish, of course, to exclude some of the records, or modify them before uploading.

Detailed File

You can also download a file which contains some extra attributes which might be useful to e.g. upload to a website or perform more detailed pricing analysis. Simple follow the above steps but use the CHL Legacy (Detailed) file type.

Adding Commission to Base-Rental Ratebooks

The below fields will allow you to load in a Ratebook from a funder without adding commission to the figures manually beforehand:

  • Broker Profit: an amount which will be spread across the rentals for a given deal

  • Broker Rental Profit: an amount which will be added to each rental

  • Broker Min Profit: if you are using Rental Profit, a minimum which should be substituted if necessary

  • Broker Max Profit: if you are using Rental Profit, a maximum which should be substituted if necessary
