Calculation Permissions

If your organisation has access to the calculations functionality, there are a number of dedicated permissions settings you can use to control which users can perform certain edits on the calculations screen.
To change these permissions, click ‘Settings’ in the top menu, then click the pencil icon on the user of your choice. The following menu contains the calculation permissions:
To change any of these permissions, either check or uncheck each permission, then once you’re done, click ‘Save’.
Calculation Permissions Table
Setting | Description |
Can Calculate | Controls whether the user has any access at all to the calculations module. Without this permission the user will not be able to reach the calculations screen at all. |
Can Edit RV | If checked, the user can override the default residual value. |
Can Edit SMR | If checked, the user can override the default maintenance budget. |
Can Edit Profit | If checked, the user can override the default profit built into the calculation. |
Can Edit Svc Overhead | If checked, the user can override the default service overhead built into the calculation. |
Can Edit Rate | If checked, the user can edit the default customer interest rate. |
Can Edit Overhead | If checked, the user can override the default overhead built into the calculation. |
Can Edit VRB | If checked, the user can override the default volume related bonus. |
Can Restore Calcs | If checked, the user can revert a calculation back to a prior version, which deletes all subsequent calculations |
