Transferring Relationships
If an employee leaves the company for whatever reason, you may want to transfer all of their existing relationships to a new starter or an existing user.
To do this, head over to the 'Settings' tab and then open 'Users':
You then want to open the user that you want to transfer the relationships from, in this case, Sara Blair. To open the relationship, click the pencil button and you'll see a screen similar to below. When on this screen, click the 'Transfer Relationships' button:
PLEASE NOTE: If the user you want to transfer user from has been deleted, open the user you want to transfer users to instead.
After clicking the 'Transfer Relationships' button, you'll have the chance to choose both the source user, and the target user. 'Source' being the original Account manager, and 'Target' being the user that you want to transfer the relationships to.
The source user will always default to the user that you opened, however, you can change the source user at this stage (Including deleted users):
Once you've chosen the target and the source you can choose whether or not to also transfer the tasks associated with each relationship.
When you're happy, click the transfer button.
Please Note: This will change both the Relationship Account Manager and the Opportunity Account Manager, unless the opportunity has been marked as closed. If the opportunity has been marked as closed, the account manager of the opportunity will remain the same. This helps to keep sales reporting accurate.
After clicking the transfer button, a message will pop up that you have to agree to:
After selecting 'OK' you'll be greeted with a success message and an email will be sent to the user receiving the relationships.
