Opportunity Types

If you are trying to create an Opportunity and the Type dropdown does not have any options, or is missing the option you are looking for you will need to follow the below steps.

Note: This can only be carried out by an admin, you can resolve this for yourself if you have administrator access.

Go To Settings - Users - User affected and scroll down to Opportunity Types:

Here you can see the opportunity types that user has access to.

Under Access Flag any Opportunity Types the user has access to will show a Y, any that they do not have access to will show a N - to grant access to another type simply click the N to change it to Y, and to remove access to a type click the Y to change to to N.

The user will then need to sign out and back into Quotevine for the change to take affect.

You can see in the above screenshot that Asset Finance has been replaced with Abandoned Cart as an available Opportunity Type after the changes were made to the user settings.
