Inbound Email
You can now send email into Quotevine and have it automatically associated to any relevant relationships. Here's how!
Firstly you need to get your unique inbound email address. This can be found in the My Account area, beneath your email signature:
Any email you forward to that email address will automatically be stored in Quotevine. If possible, the system will automatically associate with any relevant relationships or contacts, it does this by searching the email body for email addresses and the message will be displayed when you are viewing the relationship/contact record. If the message is auto-associated you do not need to do anything else.
Manually Associating
If Quotevine cannot associate the message automatically, it will be stored in your Messages:
If you click the view pencil on the far left you will be shown the message in a popup window and can then select the relationship and if relevant the contact to which it should be linked:
Once you click 'Apply Changes' the message will disappear from your inbox and now appear in the relevant relationship/contact records.
Auto-forwarding
Manually forwarding every email you receive would quickly get boring. Luckily, every email system will have a feature allowing you to forward some or all of your messages to a different email address automatically. Speak to your IT department and they should be able to assist, or even make changes which will do this for all relevant users automatically. NB If you do set up auto-forwarding yourself, you may have to enter a validation code of some sort into your primary email system, which it will send into your Quotevine messages.
