Mandatory Fields

If you want to ensure some fields are filled out before saving - you can use mandatory fields!
As a default, Quotevine has a lot of mandatory fields (such as finance payment figures). Using the mandatory fields within settings will allow you to create custom mandatory fields based on finance type.
Head to settings and scroll to 'Mandatory Fields'
Click 'Add Field' and you'll see the following page:
This is where you select which page the field appears on. So, for example, for initial payment I need to select 'Quote'.
After you've selected the page, all of the available fields will be listed below:
You can use the drop downs at the top to define which funder and product type you wish the field to be mandatory for. If you want the field to mandatory for them all, simply leave them blank.
Tick the field(s) that you wish to mandatory. The message column is what will appear in the redbar at the top when a user tries to save without entering the mandatory field.
When you're happy, hit the save button and it's all completed!
